We need to fund raise constantly in order to support the many cats in our care, to pay for food, vet bills and litter principally.
We organise fairs and coffee mornings in the towns in our area, have stands at shows & festivals in the summer and try to invent new events to attract people.
Can you help?
We always need helpers at the fairs, if you are local, please do consider this.
Can anyone suggest any more events for us? Even better - could you organise an event - a coffee morning or whatever? You don’t need to be in the area to do it. If anyone in Australia would like to organise a sheep shearing contest, or a camel race in Dubai, that would be marvellous and we would love to hear from you.
Can anyone do a car boot sale? We have a number of goods which are not quite up to fair standard but which would raise some cash at a car boot sale.
Have you anything that we could sell?
Unwanted presents, books, records, any bric a brac - anything except large pieces of furniture? We can collect - assuming you are not in Australia!
HELP, HELP, HELP
If it isn't practical for you to come to any of our events. Can you consider making a donation to the Group? (see below)
Other Ways You Can Help
Apart from sponsoring or helping at events or with donations of goods we also need people for:
- To check potential homes before we rehome a cat or kitten
Follow Up Visits
- To visit cats who have been homed, to check they are happy and that the new owners have no problems.
